"CHANGE" The Life Of A Child
MISSION FRIENDS would like to collect your pocket change. All proceeds will benefit the Restoration Children's Orphange Home in Uganda, Africa.
This home houses 27 children that have been abandoned or orphaned by parents who have died from HIV/AIDS. The home was opened in January 2008. Many of these children will be hearing about the real meaning of Christmas for the very first time this season. Your pocket change will be used to provide Christmas presents for them as we change their live by introducing them to the birth of Jesus Christ.

Sycamore Baptist Church has begun collecting items for The Hope Chest, located at 1015 Halsell in Bridgeport, which opened Sept. 18, 2007. The Hope Chest will serve the organization as a way to raise additional funds for the clients, as well as a place for clients to shop and work. All proceeds will benefit the Wise Hope Shelter, which is a shelter for victims of family violence that can house up to 28 people. |

Wise Area Relief Mission (W.A.R.M.) is a non-profit Christian organization that helps needy families. It currently provides food to approximately 1750 people per month in 23 communities across Wise County. Other services include utilities, medical care, gas and lodging. W.A.R.M. began in 1998 when the food pantry at Central Church of Christ was merged into an outreach for area churches.
The 2nd Sunday of each month is "Souper Sunday" at Sycamore Baptist Church. Canned food, toiletries, diapers and a variety of other products can be donated at any time, however, the 2nd Sunday is our special day set aside for this special collection.

Provides free services to the community, offering unconditional love and acceptance, direction and support for women of all ages who are pregnant or facing a relational crisis. Offers pregnancy tests, STD & abstinence education, abortion alternative counseling, abortion education, parenting classes, material goods including diapers, clothing, formula, baby food, infant furniture, car seats, etc. Contraceptive education, peer counseling referrals, spiritual counseling.
Sycamore Baptist Church collects needed items and baby product coupons for the pregnancy center.
